She married Terence Rowland Wood in 1944 in Birmingham, Warwickshire. She appears on the 1939 England and Wales Register for Birmingham, Warwickshire. She appears on the electoral rolls for 1985-2000. She lived at Smiths Barn and from 1988, Phoebe's Cottage (15 Main Street). She died in 2000 in Adlestrop.

She died 30 July 1896 in Adlestrop and was buried 3 August 1896 in Adlestrop.

Brown, S.M. appears on the 1881 census transcription of Ancestry.com for St Bride. London. I believe this has been transcribed incorrectly and have included it here for the sake of completion. He was born in 1860 in Adlestrop and was a draper's clerk.
